A Better World
A sneak preview! The first of five ESL videos for kids. It's almost done!
The first of five videos is ready for a sneak peek! While the sound still needs some tweaking (in a few places, the characters are hard to hear) and subtitles will be added, this gives you a preview of what's to come. This video focuses on the past perfect. It might seem slow to you, but for English language learners, the pace is fine as they carefully listen and process the language.
The Set-Up
The first few weeks of the project were spent refining the storyboards, writing scripts, setting up the armature rig, and most importantly, designing the sets and characters and making lots and lost of paper cutouts.
The Visuals
With refined storyboards, scripts, and plenty of paper cutouts in hand, the animators have begun their work. They're tackling several films simultaneously, focusing on bringing the visuals to life. Sound will be added later in the process. The first two films underway are Blueberry Pancakes and The Wrong Study Subject.
Some Rough Cuts
These are the first glimpses of Blueberry Pancakes and The Wrong Study Subject. The current audio files are temporary placeholders; the final sound will be added later, along with the characters' mouths. So yes, the characters will have facial expressions!
